How do Payments by Wire Transfers Work?

We explain how a payment by wire transfer works in Kushki

If your users do not have a credit card or wish to use the available balance in their bank accounts to make an online purchase, wire transfer is the ideal payment option.

Payment process

The payment process by wire transfer consists of allowing your customer to use the available balance in their bank account to pay for a purchase on your website or app. To do so, you must generate a Clabe account number for your customer to make the transfer within the website of their bank entity.

1. 2. 3. and 4. Selection of the payment method and creation of the transaction

Within your App or website, the user must select wire transfer as payment method, then Kushki returns and the Clabe number and the reference number which you share with the user.

5. The user completes the wire transfer

With the generated Clabe and the payment reference, the customer enters the website or mobile application of their bank entity to complete the wire transfer.

6. and 7. Payment confirmation

When the user completes the transfer, the bank entity confirms to Kushki the result of the transaction, and Kushki notifies you of the final status of the transaction.
