Accept payments for your e-commerce through Wordpress + WooCommerce (v3+)

WooCommerce is an open-source e-commerce plugin designed for WordPress. It was created for small and large merchants looking to sell online through WordPress. This is one of the most popular plugins worldwide, because it is easy to install and customize, and because its base product is free.

You can add our module to have a trusted payment processor to your website or that of your customers if you’re already using WooCommerce for creating e-commerce websites on WordPress. You will find details on the installation and administration below.

Requirements

  • Wordpress 4.9 or higher.
  • Woocommerce 3.0.0 or higher.

Manual Installation and Configuration:

To install and configure the plugin, you must first download it from our repository. Make sure you get the latest version.

1. Installation

1.1. From the Wordpress admin panel, go to the Plugins > Add New section. A screen called Add Plugins will open.

1.2. Click on the Upload Plugin option. A section will open for you to load the .zip file of Kushki’s plugin.

1.3. Click on Choose File and select the kushki-woocommerce.zip file saved on your computer. Once you load it, a button called Install Now will be enabled.

1.4. Click on Install Now and wait a few minutes, while the plugin is loaded. When the process is finished, you will see a message that says Plugin installed successfull, followed by a button with the Activate Plugin.

1.5. Click on Activate Plugin. You will be redirected to the installed plugins page and you will see a Plugin activated message at the top of the screen. Kushki’s plugin will also appear on the list as Kushki - WooCommerce Payment Gateway.

2. Set up and enable Kushki

Once the plugin has been activated, you must configure it. To do it:

2.1. From your administration panel, select WooCommerce and then click on Settings. The General tab will open

2.2. Select the Enable tax rates and calculations option and click on Save changes. A new tab will be enabled in the top menu called Tax.

2.3. Within Tax, click on the Standard rates. From there you can configure the taxes that apply to the products or services offered in your country.

2.4. Select the Insert row option if you want to add a new rate.

2.5. Click on Save Changes to save your configurations.

2.6. Click on the Payments tab. A new tab will open with the different payment methods that you can enable.

2.7. Enable the payment method Kushki and click on Save changes.

2.8. Click on Manage to complete Kushki’s configuration A new tab will open to configure Kushki as the payment method.

2.9. The next step will be to enter your Kushki credentials in the Merchant Public ID and Merchant Private ID fields. To obtain these credentials, go to the Kushki console, and in the Profile> Credentials section, you will find the following values

  • Public ID: Refers to the Merchant Public ID of the configuration.
  • Private ID: CRefers to the Merchant Private ID of the configuration.

2.9. In the Tax Settings option, use the tax names as they appear in the Standard rates section. If you are not adding taxes, this section should be left blank.

2.10. Click on Save changes to save the changes. Kushki will be enabled for you to receive payments from your customers in your WooCommerce store.

Customize your payment form from the Console (optional)

By linking your WooCommerce store to Kushki, our payment form will be added in default version. To customize your payment form (Kajita) on your WooCommerce store, follow these steps:

  1. Access your Administration console and go to the Configuration section.

  2. Browse the page until you find the Integrations section.

    2.1 Click on Plugins.

    2.2 Select WooCommerce. A notice will be displayed.

    2.3 Click on Configura el contenido y estilo de tu formulario (Set up the content and style of your form). Your Kajita for WooCommerce will appear.

Customize a Kajita for Authorization and capture

The Woocommerce Kajita can be configured for one-time payments, or for authorization and capture. The change is made in the following menu:

You can edit the fields that will go into your form in the Form section. In the Style tab you can customize the design of your kajita.

Test your Integration

You may use some test cards in test mode to ensure that your integration is ready. Use them with any CVV and a future expiration date.

Uninstall

  1. Go to the Plugins section and select Installed Plugins. The Plugins section will open with all available plugins.
  2. Find the Kushki plugin and click Deactivate.
  3. Click on Delete to remove Kushki’s plugin. A confirmation message will appear, click OK to finish.
